[Resolved] PVR Cinemas — cheating customers at eatables counter | |
I visited pvr naraina, new delhi on 05.07.2019 for an evening show at 9.00 p. M. And at the eatables counter, i ordered a pepsi and popcorn costing rs. 570/-. I tendered rs. 1, 000/- (Rs. 500 * 2) and was supposed to be refunded rs. 430/-. The attendant at the counter refunded me rs. 30 and on pointing out that i had given rs. 1, 000/-, he insisted that i had tendered rs. 600/- (Rs. 500 * 1 + rs. 100 * 1) only. Since i knew that i had handed over two rs. 500/- currency notes, i pleaded with him to refund rs. 430/- which he refused point blank. Incidentally, i happened to see a camera and asked him to check the footage to establish the veracity of my contention. I was reluctant to leave the counter and asked the attendant to call the manager. The manager came over and told me to go and watch the movie and in the meanwhile he would verify the footage and settle the issue. Since i refused to budge, both went inside and came out and the manager stated that the password for the camera was not working but nevertheless he agreed to refund rs. 430/- that was due to me.in the process, i lost 25 minutes of the show. This clearly shows that the entire staff is hand in glove and they cheat the customers by indulging in such corrupt practices. Was this information helpful? | |
