I state that on 27th july 2019 i had bought tickets for 4 people from the counter amounting to rs. 736/- vide debit card payment for the movie name article 15 at pvr sion, mumbai to be aired on screen 3 at 10.45 pm on friday 28th june 2019. I further state that at the booking counter the executive took my mobile number & issued the tickets & thereafter i received two text messages, one from canara bank about amount debit & other from pvr cinemas about voucher no. Kndpemd36.
I state that thereafter i misplaced the tickets & went to the booking counter at 10.40 pm on 28th july 2019 expecting that pvr cinemas will issue me new tickets based on my mobile number, which they took from me. I further state that i requested the management to issue me fresh tickets in lieu of misplaced tickets, based on my mobile number taken by them but to no extent they were able to solve my problem & issue me fresh tickets. I further state that at 11 pm the management advised me to find the misplaced ticket & see the movie.
I state that since pvr cinemas had taken my mobile number during booking at the counter the management was duty bound to serve me by providing fresh tickets based on the data linked to my mobile number. I further state that pvr cinemas should disclose the reason of taking customer mobile numbers, which is their personal & private detail & further failing to serve them in a better way in such lost ticket event.
In view of the above, i request to take appropriate legal action as per prevailing laws & direct pvr cinemas to compensate me due to failure of service & act of negligence towards their customer even after obtaining his personal mobile number.
