I had a Connect broadband connection from October 2022 . Few months ago i want to disconnect the broadband connection bcz i completed my study in Jalandhar. Then in December 19, 2023 one employee of connect broadband came and collected the modem and take 800 rupees that was my wifi bill. He said he disconnected the connection. Then in February 6, 2024 one person call me who introduced as connected broadband advocate[protected] and told me that I have due 1296 rupees in connect broadband. I If I cannot pay the money they will take legal court action . This time I clear the 1296 for settlement. And they confirm me that he disconnceted my connection. After few days he sent a directory number disconneted message. And I think the issue was resolved. But again in April 6, 2024 I give a message from connect broadband that was Mr. SOUHARDYA ADHIKARI, we have sent your details to our advocate for further proceeding at district courts Chandigarh as you didn't pay Rs. 366 along with legal charges of Rs.2500 for using connect no. 3918979 Total claim amount Rs. 2866 For settlement, contact [protected]. After few minutes from this num one person who introduced as advocate of connect broadband told I had due of 1700 rupees. If I want to settle this they give a company qr code in WhatsApp for payment otherwise they will take legal court action against me. Then I contact connect broadband offical customer care number and they told me I had due of 366. If I pay this they will give me no dues mail. Then I payment this in company website in the disconnect brodband charges portel. Then company employee told to send a mail for this message. In April 6, 2024 from connect broadband offical mail id I gave a no dues mail from their site . But today I received a same call from [protected] this number form settlement otherwise they take legal action against me. After this when I call to customer number they told there was no dues from their end. I cannot understand anything what I do. I am a college student and staying away from my home. And i already are too stressed with my exams, and other issues but these people calling me again and again, and harassing me. I want to file a case against the company, and want them to pay for all mental torture and harassment.

    I have been using the services till 07/23 and then relocated to a new place, i had connected to the customer care and let them know about my relocation and asked if my wifi connection could also be relocated . Firstly they agreed to do so and when i did shift to the new place, they said they don’t provide services there(being the new place i moved to was within 1km). Then i did talk to a executive to disconnect my connection, they asked for the verification documents, i did send them and then they didn’t call me again. But now after almost more than 6 months they are giving me repeated calls and text messages to pay the bill which I haven’t been even using and now threatening me to turn legal actions to me. And i have made it clear on every single phone call they did make to me, that i had made it clear to disconnect my connection but they did not do that! So how come they hold me responsible for the negligence their staff does when i provided the documents multiple times. And now they are threatening me for the things they are wrong into.

      Pls provide disconnection

      And modem was submitted back to local operator

      Requesting for Disconnection

      When asked for disconnection in local operator office they denied and shown rude behavior and misbehaved
      They threatened me in there office...

      The connect broadband connection is unstable and their service is most the pathetic one. Everyday it got disconnected frequently and the speed fluctuates in low range . And they charge you more when you try to disconnect their service. I asked them to disconnect my connection on 16th Aug and they acted on it on 21st August . I have email conversations where i ask them to update bill till 16th and i will pay and now they sent me message of legal action for not paying excessive amount and also 2500rs extra for legal charges for settlement

        I request you to disconnect my connect broadband connection with immediate effect having id number [protected] which i have also mailed on 27 march and stop the further bill to be made as i have not used the device since 14 march 2023 i was tenant there and owner of house will come in July who will hand over your device and charger to you and i will make pending payment of 1107 at that time.

          Hello, I came in contact with Connect team during my office opening in Chandigarh City Center as they have a monopoly in the area and due to lack of other service providers we went ahead with the Connect Broadband. We did not face any problem as such but when we decided due to move our office to other location "Connect Broadband Team started showing their true colours". I notified their customer care team that we are changing our office location and due to non availability of their service in the new location we need to change our broadband provider hence we do not need their services and requested them to disconnect the service as soon as possible.

          Initially we paid them advance for 6 months time period in advance. No dues were left from our end as we moved out before the advance period.

          TIme Period: Feb'22 - August'22 (Advance Paid in Full)

          When Connect customer service heard about us shifting the location they started drama and never told us about the disconnection process. I have proofs in chat where I am consistently asking them to disconnect the services to which they never shown interest and kept on misguiding us.

          They kept on generating bills and to which I even paid for one when we were not even using their services at all and during my payment I made sure that disconnection will be done on time. (Proofs are with me regarding the payment done in the month Of September) All chats, disconnection email and voice recordings will be shared.

          Router was submitted and since a guy physically came and collected it, I recorded a video of him as I have dealt with companies like these before and one need to keep a recorded evidence of everything.

          Surprisingly even after all this they generated two more bills and asked me to pay for the same. Though the amount was not big enough still why shall I pay to these fraudsters. Connect team should be taking care of customers rather to loot every customer once they decide to disconnect the service.

          I have found many complaints regarding these "Disconnection requests" and their modus operandi is similar as they wont disconnect the service and will keep on generating the bills.

          Apparently, Connect Broadband has lost few consumer court cases earlier (One is published just google it in the name of Connect broadband and if you will find it.. happened in 2019 where court directed them to pay the fine and penalty.

          At present, they are sending me a message daily stating to pay the required amount and legal fees etc. Or contact on a particular number for the settlement.

            I have submitted my disconnection [protected] on June 27th but upto now i didn’t get the predeposited amount 1500/- which has been promised to do within 45 days but it’s more than 100 days. I have visited zonal head office in Jalandhar GT Road for the same and even the gate keeper don’t let me in if I say it’s the refund request even though somehow i contacted the refund related incharge they say daily it’s in process and some other reasons like the courier boy has got some health issues from past 32 days i am continuously contacting the incharge but there’s no resolution for my request.

              My Connect number is [protected]. I’m using connect broad band since last year. The internet service they are providing from the starting point is giving trouble. The internet halts for 3-5 hours from the starting. Although i somehow managed at that time, now I’m fed off. From last 2-3 months I’m facing regular issues. I kept on calling to coustmer care, lodging complaints, still facing problem. I kept on calling ok this number[protected]. This man is making faking promises from last 4 days. As I don’t have number of higher authorities, i found this way to reach you. I request you to deactivate my connection or resolve my issue ASAP! And compensate me in any way for the terrible services.

                Disconnect the broadband connection

                My connect broadband no. is [protected]. It has not been working for last 20 days. I have requested them to stop the service. They didnot process the request. Now the bill has been generated. I have requested them to stop the service only then i shall pay the final bill. But they are not disconnecting the service. Everyday i receive 10 phone calls to remind me to pay the bill. I have told them that once you end my membership only then i will make the final payment. They are not discontinuing my service. Kindly ask them to take action and stop my service with immediate effect.

                  My Connect Broadband no is[protected], as per the plan I am supposed to use the facility of Landline calls (Unlimited Calls STD + Local). I have lodged complaints for the installation of the Landline, I have purchased the device and only the installation needs to be done. Twice I have requested for the installation.                   Connect Broadband had resolved the complaint automatically without taking any action against the complaint. It seems they hardly bothered customer satisfaction.

                  Also I have mailed them but all in vain.

                  The Connect representative who had visited my place using the hit & trial method for diagnosing the issue & rectification of the problem, it seems he still needs technical training. Initially, as per the diagnosis, the landline was defective, next, the issue shifted to the connector and finally, he said, he does not have the wire for connection since Connect Broadband does not provide them the wire and he was asking me to arrange it.

                  This is tough to see other than the bill the customer is supposed to provide extra expense on infrastructure for the setup.

                      My connect broadband no [protected] in Ludhiana is not working since 01.03.2022 . Complaint was registered on same day 11:00 AM . That day was holiday so company refused to take any action. Next day was working day and still complaint was not resolved. Today when called connect office in Ludhiana no :[protected]. Person attending call replied that our technical person are on leave so complaint will not be resolved today. I would like to bring to your kind notice that whenever bill is due, connect executives start calling 3 days before the due date to pay the bill. But no body response whenever customer lodges a complaint.

                        I am lovely sharma received call from connect ludhiana mall road office in oct -2021 regarding broadband connection for only rs 300 per month from ms prabhjot kaur.

                        With this offer i agree to install after installation the installation boy ask me to pay rs 300 then i call to prabhjot regarding this, she suggested me to pay this is your first month rent.

                        After one week i got an call from mohali that my current plan is 499 rs then i speak with them that am not want thia plan as i got info from prabhjot for rs 300 .they suggest me to talk with ludhiana office.

                        I call same time after that prabhjot told me that she will resolve me issue and assure me to continue.

                        After one month i got bill of rs 549 or above.then still not any resolution then i mailed for disconnection and remove .i received mail for resolve but no solution even they told me to pay bill and submit router to nearest shop but why i am not walk to any shop for connect shop or call someone for connection if they send someone to install then they have to send someone to remove.

                        I get many calls for legal action on daily basis.but no solution.

                        They increase bill amount every month without any usage .

                          For having bared with the company’s pathetic & laid back services for approximately 2 years, the company’s services, both broadband as well consumer services has shown utter nuisance till the end.
                          After deciding to end “Connect’s” broadband services a few months back, i reached out to the consumer executive in the month of May to disconnect our broadband connection. Unlike the other companies like Airtel, which provide proper guidance for disconnections, Connect’s consumer services provides no guidance whatsoever instead pushed us to continue our services with them. After being adamant to disconnect, they said that “it would be disconnected”, providing no further details.
                          The company already holds our ₹1, 500 as a security deposit and is now demanding us to pay an extra ₹1530 for no reason and for no fault of our own.
                          ConnectZone has been very unprofessional with their services. While I was availing their service, I have registered tons of complaints. Whose record could help the company to reflect on the poor performance.
                          In order to desperately hide their fault, the company has now registered a complaint in the district court to “settle the due amount”.
                          But can the company justify these ‘due amount ‘and how their poor & laid-back service took them 9 months to only learn that the fault remains in their pit.

                            I have asked for the upgradation of the connect broadband connection to FTTH. The price for the 2.4 GHz modem is ~Rs.1100 but the local vendor of the connect is asking Rs. 2000 for the same. When asked the reason for the extra money- he says we have invested amount in the setup of FTTH in the city and head office hasn't invested any penny so we are charging more to compensate. I don't want to pay bribe to them. And when i ask them to give me receipt for the extra money, they deny the same. Head office should send investigators to investigate the issues otherwise these local goons will end up destroying company reputation.

                              Internet not working from the last 2 days. Local connect office is delaying the complaint as i have registered the complaint directly to the head office. Pathetic service and unprofessional behaviour by local office, Gurdaspur. It seems head office does not have control over them.

                                On the 17th August 21, my broadband connection was disconnected with the message that your payment has been pending for June month even though the discussion is going on with the customer executive since 8th August mentioning I have done the payments of June month and they will discuss this with the superiors and get back to me as their systems is not showing the same but their app showing it (attached screenshot).

                                Btw, that period I have received n number of calls in the last 28 days on each alternate day (including customer care, recovery team, etc) regarding bill payment, and after explaining the whole concern they always mention that they come back to me but no one ever comes back.

                                Even after paying the full pending amount of 1320 (after confirmation from connect team via email) they mentioned now the Complete disconnection would happen only when you will deposit the outstanding amount both billed and unbilled and submit the accessories at nearest connect office to settle your connect account.

                                Total till date outstanding amount of your connect number is (Billed Rs 0 + tentative Unbilled Rs 250) = Total amount to pay is Rs 250/-

                                My question is due to any technical difficulties happened at the company's end and they don't receive the payment or payment bounce back & after a month where they claim for payment not received and company's disconnect the connection, Is it the customer responsibility to pay for the rental services of that period?

                                Now, today I have received a message saying your details has been sent to our advocate for further proceeding at district courts Chandigarh as you didn't pay Rs.247. For settlement, contact customer care no.

                                  I had to shift my residence in the month of October 2021 so in the last week of September itself I asked the company to change my address and on the next day of calling, their technician came and took the modem with him and I was told that it will be installed at new residence within 2 days and you need not call again for it. Since then it's been more than a week that they didn't install it and kept telling me that aj hojayega or kal hojayega. They are charging me even for the period when even the modem was with them only. That is for the month of October too. The problem was at their end and just 2 days before they told me that connection cant be installed at the new residence and they are putting every charges on me. My sister and I could not prepare for judicial services due to lack of internet and it also caused me mental agony and harrasment.

                                    I have requested a new connection on 7th of AUg, 2021 in sec21 Panchkula . I have been told to make all the payments and connection will be operational from next day i.e Mon (9th aug). Till date no body is responding on my request i am feeling cheated . I will Esclate this further till CEO level .if not resolved in 24 hours .12-08.2021.
