[Resolved] Quikr — quikr deliberately delaying replacement of defective unboxed certified phone | |||||
I paid 6900 for an unboxed moto g5 plus 64 gb model certified by quikr with 7 day replacement On 22nd june 2018, a moto g5 plus 32 gb handset in a very old box without any charger or accessories was delivered. Not even a pin to remove sim card tray. Apart from these the handset has some severe issues : 1. The display seems to be stuck with low quality gum to the body. The gum is visible and clearly felt by touching the sides of the screen. 2. Neither the call-speaker nor the loud speaker of the phone works. 3. Even attaching a headphone doesn't work. I emailed the issue to [protected]@quikr.com, [protected]@quikr.com, [protected]@quikr.co.in on 23 and 24 june 2018. After a lot of requests, complaints and hassle, the reverse pickup was completed on 7th july. This was only after i proved them by sending images of the issues. Since then, there is no progress from quikr. A lady has been assigned the task of replying that they are awaiting response from their internal team. This is the reply i have been getting for any question asked "the issue has been highlighted to our quality team and we are awaiting for a response from their end". Initially i was under the impression that the partner seller was at fault but the negligence of quikr seems like they are equally responsible. They are intentionally trying to delay the issue thinking i will drop the issue and forget about it. I am surely not dropping this case. It has been more than a month since i had complained. I no more need a replacement. I don't have a lifetime to keep requesting quikr if the certified phone needs repair in 6 month warranty time. Better stay away and buy a new phone from flipkart or amazon. At least their replacement policy is a lot more convenient. I availed a RTO service by March 2018. They said they will get the RC tranfer in a month. It took 4 months for then to say that they have encountered some problem with documents and return of document took 1 month and still repayment not made
