I've been charged with an illegal dues transfer of INR 19788.00 on my CA Number[protected], bill number[protected] with due date 4 August. We have enquired about the dues transfer by visiting the nearby BSES office and we have been informed that a temporary meter was installed and the dues which were not paid on the temporary meter was transferred to my CA number. The BSES official also told us that my CA number is appointed as a guarantor for the temporary meter. We have been given a copy of the bill of the temporary meter for reference purpose on which the address mentioned is different from the address on which my CA number is associated and the temporary meter was removed from the irrelevant property in October 2022 as per information given by BSES officials while we have been paying the bills of CA number[protected] since July 2021. We tried to resolve the issue by visiting the office but officials were not listening to our issue that the temporary meter is not installed on our property and hence we shall not be held liable to pay for what we haven't consumed. The temporary meter which was installed in Naveen Shahdara in the name of Raj Kumar Sharma is a builder and the property in which I am living was also purchased from the same builder and hence the name on the bill is same but the property is different. I'm attaching the bills for your ready reference.
