[Resolved]  Razorpay — irctc refund

We tried to make a tatkal ticket reservation via irctc android app on the 21st june 2018 morning.

The payment option chosen by us for the transaction was razorpay.

Payment of rs. 2144.60 was through from our bank of baroda account on the 21st june 2018 to irctc via razorpay (Acting as the payment gateway).

But, unfortunately, the train reservation wasn't through (Due to some problem at irctc, supposedly!).

Emails were received by us, from irctc, that the refund will be made in 3 to 4 working days.

It has now been almost a month and the refund has been made by irctc to razorpay. Unfortunately, razorpay is not putting the money through onto our bank account/ debit card.

We have seen so many similar complaints raised here.

This experience has been appalling. We are never going to recommend razorpay to anyone. Think about the amount of interest money, from pan india, that razorpay is sitting on by such shenanigans.

Highly preposterous services offered by your company, sir.

On the same date, we also used another payment gateway, where also the payment was through but ticket wasn't booked. Suffice to say that other payment gateway is ethical enough as the money was refunded onto our bank account within the stipulated time duration.

But, otoh, razorpay! Ridiculous services!

Now, closing the complaint. Marking it solved.

For resolution, we had to contact our banker and open an e-commerce pos dispute for the refund amount.

Razorpay was not able to do nothing!

Sir I have booked 2 tickets for nagavali train from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam on 20 July 2018. And cancelled them and I should read a cash back of 880 rupees. IRCTC says it refunded the amount to razor pay but it was not credited to my bank account. Please look after the issue
