RBL Bank — credit card membership fee reversal

I am using rbl bank maxima platinum credit card, earlier this year i decided to discontinue the credit card as yearly subscription of 2000 rupees seems to be expensive to me. So i called and informed rbl bank customer care about this.in response the customer person offered me 50% refund of the membership fee from previous cycle i. E[protected] and also assured me he will provide 50% or more reversal for this year i. E[protected] that's how they convinced me and now they are asking me to pay the full amount. This is really disappointing as they didn't allow me to discontinue and they are not giving the fee reversal as well.
