[Resolved] Reliance Digital — defective products and unreliable service

Two incidents occurred in a span of a month.
First - we purchased a new dell laptop with a warranty that the product will work fine for a year. The staff here are actually representing each company. But they don't wear the tags. So when we asked the sales person regarding hp laptop he suggested that is better to go for dell. And that the hp laptop lacked a lot of features.
We blindly believed him thinking he knew about the laptops in general. And bought the laptop. We were also told that if there was an issue it'll be taken care of and will be replaced.
There was an issue but they refused any help and asked us to deal with it by calling the dell service centre. We then realised that the person who sold the laptop was a dell person and he had no idea about the hp laptop we had asked about. We felt cheated!!! This was a terrible experience. Still not satisfied with the laptop that was thrust upon our head.
Secondly, shortly after this, my uncle happened to buy two bluetooth wireless headphones from the same reliance digital store. As fate had it, one was fine, the other meant for my grandpa, refused to even connect to our devices. We went back, & they took their time to check it and this time we refused anything less than a replacement. And so they replaced it.
Once again we came home and charged it. Unfortunately, it was again a defective piece!! It worked only when it was getting charged. Once the charging is stopped, the wireless headphone refused to even switch on.
This time though, we didn't leave that place without a refund and saw to it that we get it. Reliance digital, is most unreliable! I don't know who their supplier is but the products they receive and sell are problematic and defective.
I have written here in this platform as the public should be aware that the sales persons don't wear their company tags and cheat us while we buy the defective gadgets that are not tested before. One sales person went on to tell us that vivo is an indian company! (He did not wear a company card, but we found out he was from vivo)
They claim that the replacement will be done in 7 days but refused it to us when we returned with the defective laptop asking us to go in search of a service centre. Customers must be careful when they purchase from there. These people wash their hands off. And at the end of it, our money, time and energy is all wasted. Never should a consumer be made to suffer like this. "caveat venditor" — let the sellers beware.
