[Resolved] Reliance Digital — Jiofi inordinate activation delay | |||
I bought reliance jiofi device and SIM on 3rd september paying 1999Rs (Reliance mini store S R nagar Hyderabad), also submitted aadhar copy as POA/POI. Jio promises 4 hrs activation time at its site and the store told that SIM would get registered/activated by evening. Now it is 6th day and the SIM is not even registered. Jio customer care number [protected] would keep you waiting forever, went to the store for help but there was a big queue there !! How come jio is selling more and more SIMs if it can not handle existing customers !!! Sep 12, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved Went to the reliance digital store, was informed that my KYC got rejected for some reason like "signature mismatch/overwrite". There was no notification about this on email or SMS. Good part, store issued another SIM and did aadhar e-KYC. This new SIM got activated next day, was able to use it on my jiofi device. Reliance Digital customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Went to the store today, was told that my application rejected. However they did e-kyc at the shop with new SIM, now promised that it will take 24 hrs to activate. So let's see now how much time it takes ...
