[Resolved] Reliance Digital — panasonic ac model no. cs-kc18rkyt-1 (cooling issues) | |||
This complaint is about an ac purchase on 28/09/2016.in chennai at reliance digital kolathur branch chennai. I requested for a general service with resq for the ac with after two years as we were having allergic issues due to dust accumulation in the roller fan in indoor unit. Since i had an additional 2 year annual maintenance contract the technician arrived and carried a caustic soda wash for the indoor unit which went on well, and fixed it back with good cooling for the next 20 days. The problem then started with not getting cooling, i called the resq tech. Back and he checked the indoor unit and said that there might be a leak in the indoor unit coil, so he dismantled the indoor unit and took with him to his resq center to conduct a nitrogen test to identify the leak in the indoor coil. Well he informed that there is a leak in the indoor coil. Resq arranged a replacement coil, but the one they received was not matching with the model i had, so it was ordered from mumbai warehouse, pleas note that it is already 15 to 20 days, the indoor unit with them, and finally the spare arrived. It was fixed at my place the very next day, only to be working for the next 20-25 days. Again the cooling issue started, the technician for resq arrived and this time he suspected that there might be a leak in the copper tubes connecting from outdoor unit to indoor unit. As this is not covered in the amc, i had to shell out rs. 5000 from my pocket, only to work for another 20-25-days. Now my recent compliant no. Is [protected] dated 21/03/2019, and this time the resq is suspecting on many components in my ac, like the leak in out door coil, or cooling sensor, or the thermostat, etc. Etc... Finally they treated my ac as an training unit for the unprofessional technicians. Now it has become difficult for the resq technicians to pin point the problem. I have paid rs. 47000 for this ac just to bring headaches, agony and frustration. I finally contacted reliance head and request for an replacement, mentioning all the time spent (6months) spent with their resq team. And their unsuccesfulness, now they simply say that they will send their technician again for the repairs, and they informed that they cannot arrange for a replacement as i am out of warranty period. So. Paying so much amount (Rs. 47000) for this ac has brought my mental distress and i feel i was cheated. Mr. Jitendra surve is the ceo of escalation team from reliance digital terail limited who refused to replace the ac, and the local resq manager is mr. Mohan. With contact no. [protected].
