I bought 4 Reconnect AirConditioners(1ton) from Reliance Digital for my home. I also purchased RESQ extended warranty plan for each AC to cover any malfunctions in the future. I spent around Rs.5500/- for each AC RESQ plan. Altogether I have spent more than Rs.22000/- just for RESQ plan.
Recently, one of my AC was not working so I raised a RESQ service request & finally they diagnosed that it was a circuit board failure due to rat-bite. Keeping this as a reason, they rejected my claim of replacing the faulty part. This has happened to me NOT ONCE BUT TWICE.
Reliance Digital & RESQ sell their RESQ plans by MAKING FALSE PROMISES at the TIME OF PURCHASE. THEY NEVER REVEAL that RAT BITES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Customer realises this FRAUD only when they approach RESQ FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS.
I have spent more than 2.2Lakhs for my Purchases at Reliance Digital. I now regret this decision.
I would request the forum members / Consumer court lawyers / whoever can help me resolve this RELIANCE RESQ FRAUD.
It is NOT JUST ME. BUT THERE WILL BE MORE VICTIMS TO SUCH WARRANTY FRAUD. Your HELP in this regard would BENEFIT ALL VICTIMS.
