I had my taxi vehicle insured with reliance insurance, policy number [protected], my vehicle met with an accident in the last week of feb'17 and i gave the vehicle in the workshop which was under the umbrella of reliance ins as a cashless workshop called sri shiva motors in greater noida in the first week of apr'17, i got my vehicle last week which was the first week of sept'17, reasons for delay are below :
1. The surveyor (Manish tiwari) deployed took a lot of time to survey the vehicle
2. The entire end to end verification process took about 2-3 weeks
3. The surveyor submitted incorrect report
4. The surveyor misbehaved with me and my father when we questioned him on his report
5. I had to raise a complaint in customer service post which the surveyor apologized and promised a full claim settlement
6. The surveyor then in discussion with my father and the workshop owner assured that work should get initiated on the vehicle and the entire amount will be settled
7. The surveyor however submitted an incorrect report wherein he rejected covering the right side of the vehicle inspite of the fact that the policy was zero dep and the car was damaged in the same accident
8. The surveyor then got transferred out of delhi
9. The next surveyor love kumar gave us a very hard time and said that the right side will not be covered, by then the car was fixed
Due to the above mentioned reasons it took almost 5 months for me to get my car fixed and returned.
Outlined below is the financial loss i bared because of this
7400*5 = 37000 emi's paid out of my pocket as the vehicle could not be used for business
20000*5 = 100000 profit loss since my vehicle could not be used for business
