[Resolved] Reliance Jio Infocomm — complaint regarding no refund received for security deposit after cancellation of jio fiber connection | |||
I had sent an email to cancel my jio fiber connection due to re-location where the connection is not available. I have confirmed the same calling customer care. No one from my family will stay at my present location so kindly cancel the connection. My jio fiber id is[protected]. It was purchased on 5 feb 2018. I received a message confirming that i have purchased jio fiber connection. Bank account details: Bank name - icici bank Account name - bishwajit choudhary Account type - saving Account number[protected] Ifsc code - icic0000031 Details for verification: Date of birth: 15-aug - 1984 Father’s / husband’s name: prem nath choudhary Last 4 digits of poi (Proof of identity) / poa (Proof of address) number: 3463 Rmn (Registered mobile number): 91-[protected] Registered email id: [protected]@gmail.com This was sent to [protected]@jio.com and jio. [protected]@ril.com on 2nd april 2018. On 7 april 2018 the device was picked by the jio service engineer and i got a message from jio care with a confirmation that connection has been permanently disconnected. Since 7 april 2018 i have been waiting to get a refund of my security deposit. I have called/ sent email every week to customer care and everyone says this has been escalated on high priority but no cares to inform me why i am not getting the refund. Recently i got to know jio never received the money as my cheque bounced which is not true as 4500/- was debited from my icici account and i have submitted a proof of that as well. The same is attached. Before this i was told that my account is being validated, once done i will get the security deposit. But, it never happened. Even the supervisors in jio customer care do not honor their commitment as they never callback. No one has an answer on what is the eta, what is priority the ticket and what is sla to resolve it. I sent a message on twitter as well and there was a ticket - sr00000ksbus created on 14 may 2018 but this was closed without resolution on 18 may 2018. Was this information helpful? | |||
May 28, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved In my complain itself I have provided proof that they have received the security deposit and only after that they had installed the connection. If you are repeating the same thing then you guys are good for nothing. Reliance Jio Infocomm customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||

Reliance Jio Infocomm customer care has been pathetic with their response and have been extremely unhelpful. Sending these requests to them is a wastage of time.
