[Resolved]  Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited — Reg jio4gvoice offline problem

Dear sir/madam,
Greetings of the day!!

I have purchased jiofi model no - jmr 520 on 15th sept from reliance digital phoenix mall lucknow. Sim got activated on 18th sept and jio4gvoice application is working properly but suddenly on 20th sept when i checked my cellphone it start showing offline. Afterwards i have tried everything reinstalling the app, configuring the device on others smartphone but it now always shows offline. I am attaching the recorded video of the whole process and the message it is showing to better understand the problem along with device details & device photo.

One more thing i have to share i have tested my sim on two different jiofi devices apart from my device.

1. When i tested my sim with old jiofi model (Without display) the same problem gets resolved and jio4gvoice is showing online.

2. When i tested my sim with new jiofi jmr 520 model (Another one of my friend) the same problem continues and jio4gvoice is showing offline.

Hoping for a early reply with some solution as i am not able to make calls.

Company have updated the firmware of the device through online update . You can check it at Router Front page(192.168.15.1) Firmware Creation Date - 21/Sept/2016. For those whose devices are still on old firmware (march 2016) keep your device powered on as much as possible bcz they are updating the device firmware from their end only. Hope your issues will be resolved soon.

Also one can login and updatr from the path shown for back up, there is one more option to update click snd select the latest version file snd update.

Is this Firmware file given toy you by the Lyf service center person ?

Yes i got it from lyf service center. And aslo lyf has released the new firmware version 6.24 dated as 5.10.2016. After updating to the above one the jiofi will update to the latest firmware through ota update without any problem. The latest firmware has resolved all the issues and now there is no problem at all. :)

I am also facing the same issue (Firmware creation date: 03/31/2016 Firmware Version:
FXN_B4W013_R6.5_PLMN_LOCK ). I tried by resetting the device multiple times to force the update but it won't happen successfully, always shown Update Err message. Could anyone please tell me how frequent these updates come to devices or are there any ways to update my device's firmware.Also, I am planning to visit nearest Reliance Digital Store to get this resolved, Will they provide the solution? Please suggest.
Update your device using provided firmware it will probably silve your issue.

Hi friends looks like all of you have the jmr520 device, so you can tell the max speed you are getting in Mbps, please answer as its a month since I bought the device and the speed in pathetic and getting worse each day. Reliance Digital sold me this saying its the new version now a week ago the old jiofi 2 routers are again available so my friends bought the device, one of them is my neighbor as well. Now my friens having the jiofi 2 are getting upwardly speeds of 8-15 Mbps, while I am getting just ''350 Kbps'' ! Yes, I did test their jiofi2 on my pc, put my sim inside it and test again, then put their sim in my jmr520 and test again, all of these resulted in only one conclusion that MY JMR 520 IS GETTING NEGLIGIBLE SPEED AS COMPARED TO THE JIOFI 2 HAVING MUCH GREATER SPEEDS.
So is my jmr 520 defected or all of you are having same problem.
Please reply as soon as possible as I am totally frustrated (couln't even sleep peacefully for the last 4 days since I tested their JioFi 2 on my pc), and

Sir, today I have visited your JIO office at Times Square Bldg., at CBD Belapur for porting my Cell No. ( Unique Porting Code is AM 24437) but I am not at all happy that the concerned staff is not at all helpful and also not explaining the correct way of getting things done. After paying Rs.99/- one time regn.fee, there is no receipt but not given the SIM Card also. They have mentioned that I will get a message in my Mobile after a week or so. Today evening I got a call from your above office mentioning that they have already given a SIM Card to me.To this, I told them that you are not given any SIM card or any other receipt. The staff then told me that they thought that they have already given the SIM CARD to me .This is utter nonsense and at last I told that it is their duty to supply SIM CARD after completing the formalities. The staff members are utterly confused and not in a mood to help the customers. Pl look into this matter and take corrective steps so the genuine customers can really enjoy the JIO 4G services in future.
