[Resolved] Royaloak Furniture — Incompetent and near Fraudulent service | |||||
Hi Everyone, Having moved into a new house for a couple of months, and having nothing but bean bags for guests to sit on. I thought it was high time to buy a sofa. I heard from my relative that RoyalOAK had a wide variety of furniture from low budget and to very posh. So I bought a sofa and a chest of Drawers on the 12th soley on the promise that they made of delivering it on the 14th. #WorstMistakeEver. I make a partial payment through my CC and the rest was processed through BAJAJ FINANCE on the very same day 12th August 2016. I called them on sunday around noon time to get an update as to the status of the delivery as i had invited guests for dinner and had high hopes of having the furniture delivered by then. I call them and here is where all the lies begin. 1. I call them and ask them the status of the order, and they say that my Bajaj Loan has not been approved. When it was showing up on my Bajaj Finiance account in the few minutes that it took while i was in the showroom on the 12th 2. The next day i decide to visit the store RoyalOAK (Banaswadi Bangalore branch) in hopes of speaking with the store manager on this and all i get is the cold shoulder. I ask for the store manager, though he walked past me several time, none of the store employees would point me to him. Absolute disregard for customers after they have their money. 3. After making several phone calls with store manager and with the Bajaj Finance representative who processed the loan in a couple of minutes, was tossed back and forth between them stating you need to speak to the other guy. Absolutely pathetic. 4. On the 17th August still no resolution despite several promises of callbacks (though none happened) no refund or word from them. I spoke to the Bajaj Finance Representative (shivappa), the same person who processed the Bajaj loan said that they had no issues cancelling the order which I requested after the horrible experience. The Finnace rep said that I need to get it cancelled from RoyalOak on this. I call RoyalOak and as for their manager (Gerald) who doesn’t answer his phone (possibly avoiding the call) told me that I need to contact customer care to get a confirmation. Now I call their(ROYAL OAK) customer care rep says I need to write an email to her manager but does not give the email or connect the call stating that the manager is in a meeting and hangs up the call abrupt because it is 6.30PM and its their time to logout. I am on the verge of filing a consumer fraud case on the basis of charging money and providing absolutely no service. THIS IS TO ALL PLEASE AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM ROYALOAK FURNITURE Regards, Aniketh Sreenivasan P.S.
