Belonging to middle class, having my own flat was mine n my wife's dream (Still it is).

So after our daughters birth, we decided to pace for our dream. We chose runwal mycity for the purpose as sales team promised us a flat with a class amenities with a renowned builder runwal.

Somehow we collected n arranged funds and dared to book a flat in runwal mycity. As promised it was supposed to get delivered by 2020.
We started planning our life accordingly; also we planned to celebrate our darling daughters 5th bday in our new home only. We delayed our vacations, sacrificed even little luxuries just to save our hard earned money and to pay the emi s. We even broke our existing fds that were done by us for our daughter’s future.

Everything was going well, as possion date was approching.

During this time period we visited the site also, but each time we were given some reason of delayed construction work (The work was beyond as what was promised).

Finally when no demand came (Which was very obvious in a clp), it created a fuss in our mind and then we came to know that rera was implemented and to our utmost shock the expected possession was now in year 2027.

We were shattered as all our plans and struggles were in ruin now.

Our daughter would be turning 13yrs by that time. Not only it was a psychological shock but a financial shock as well as we had already paid (Ed) 14lacs of our real hard earned money.

And the most annoying thing was that sales team not even called us or mailed us once to intimate this major change in plan & rera dates.

Gathering ourselves we approached them again and again and after so much frustration, we were distracted and offered to shift our flat into runwal forest, kanjurmarg west.

It was just a sales trick to satisfy the cheated customers like us.

We somehow made up our mind and decided to give it a second chance though the amount was much more than our budget. But proceeding further we are again asked to pay token amount to begin a fresh booking in forest. On insisting too much they agreed to pull the amount from mycity and promised us to consider the case. But nothing happened.

After all these shocks and non cooperation we are so much frustrated with runwal group that the only option left for us is to cancel all the bookings.

After so much mal-promises and the incidence we are the one who chase them for amount. They never approached us or tried to rest our case.

Now its been more than 2 months, on mails they are continuously assuring us to refund our money but the process is not even initiated. Also no update from their side every time i have to call and take update.

We are totally trapped and in loss as neither we got our dreamed flat nor even the money that was arranged by us with a real time struggle.

Although the mental trauma and the financial loss is all ours only, now i have decided never to consider runwal……
