They are highly unprofessional bunch of thieves and crooks

They charged me 38000 Approx with insurance(Don't trust insurance they are fraud)

in my case they have sent 4 lazy people After packing very badly around 12 in noon an open container came to my apartment( I have paid money for Closed container).

When I called the Union Tertiary head Jitesh Kumar(unprofessional guy) he said that I gave quote only for that container and even that container is not in good condition(lorry was sent by some third party vendor not Sahara)Even we adjusted with that by telling him that boss I don't have trust on you and you keep on changing words and I told him I will pay the amount at destination after delivery of goods.

At first he agreed for that and after loading all the goods he started asking me pay the whole amount as his CEO is not agreeing for that in the discussion they have moved the fully loaded lorry to their ware house and started blackmailing us stating that your goods are with us and once you pay the money lorry will start to destination.

we don't have any choice except to pay the money.

Finally the lorry has arrived to destination and few of my goods got damaged and lorry guy while reversing the vehicle he hit my compound wall and I called Union Tertiary head Jitesh Kumar again he did not respond at all.

We tried calling his CEO he is also most irresponsible guy.

I have paid full amount and an insurance amount of rs.3000/- for my goods from chennai to bangalore. My goods come in a van without any staff of sahara. The driver said its not his duty to take the stuf[censored]p. The goods were damaged and repeated calls to the office they did not respond. Nowhere in the bill given to me in chennai had chennai address. When called on the number in chennai the girl surekha disconnects and very rude. Mr. Amarchand in chennai kept saying it will be done and it will be done from 29th of april 2016 to 7th may 2016. Still the goods are unpacked (for which they have charged me), nobody has come to see the damaged goods and my calls are disconnected. When i called the bangalore office they tell me sort it out with the person you dealt in chennai. Its unfortunate that sahara packers are given licence to operate like this and cheat people openly. I hope the consumer complaints atleast try to help and take up the issue seriously.

I had booked this packers for shifting from Chennai to Bangalore.Packers who told they will come by 6am on feb27 didnt come till 10.30am. They had taken a long time for packing even though they didnt fully cover up the sofa, dining table and bed.The mini lorry didnt fit all the products yet they dungeoned everything into it.Sofa cushion was not wrapped and they had kept some heavy box on the sofa cushion, so the cushion got torn damaged.The sofa and dining table chairs are badly scratched and damaged.The packing people have also written numbers like 51, 52 very big and on the noticeable place of the wood which cant be erased now.The labourers who came for packing in chennai demanded for extra money and tips other than what was discussed with the executive.And they didn't take the vehicle till 6pm demanding they want more money.After seeing the furniture condition I called Sahara packers and the person talked like he didn't understand Tamil or English.Feeling worst for booking this packers.I need a refund for all the damages occurred.

Sahara Movers & Packers has charged insurance premium amount Rs 1500/- against transportation of household goods from Bangaluru to Asansol Vide there docket No - 2208 dt. 03.07.15 & material party being damaged in transit. In spite of repeated complaint through telephone at there customer care number as well as concerned Manager Mr, .Vinod Kumar but they least bothered to take remedial action. As a result i felt very difficulty & cheated by the transporter packers & movers is very seriously to be taken & necessary compensation please be provided against the damaged material. My name is Ajay. I am a customer of Sahara packers and movers Pune. I made a deal to send my household goods from Pune to Singrauli in M.P. with Sahara Packers and movers (Pune). They charged me Rs 9000.00 which I paid on the same day[protected]. They promised me to send my goods within 5 days at my destination but after continuous follow up for 12 days they send only half of my goods rest they said they will send in another three days but today it is been more then 20 days they have not send my goods. Now when I am calling they are neither ready to hear me nor replying in a good manner. I didn't took insurance of my goods so they damaged most of my products.They are using rude languages and said me to do whatever I can do. They said they will send my goods on their wish. I have been advised by them to file FIR in police station they are good to handle this situation also. The number of Sahara packers in Pune is [protected]. Dear Sir/madam,

I have got my goods and car transfered(Bangalore to Lucknow) by Sahara Packers and Movers as order detailed above.

Issue 1- They told goods will be transfered in Closed container and took goods from my house in closed container(Of sahara Packers) and delivered in open container (Some 3rd party vehicle).
Issue 2- I got call on the day ,the goods reached Lucknow, when i told that they should have informed me atleast 24 hours before as i had gone to delhi they threatened that they will dump my goods on the road.
Issue 3- Many goods were delivered damaged, truck driver told he is not from sahara and that sahara employees have dumped goods in their truck.Even after many complaints there is no response.
Issue 4 -Now regarding my car delivery which is still in their custody, i have been following up ,but they are not even willing to talk.
50% of payment is done and remaining has not been done, as for that remaining amount invoice is to be submitted,but not being done by Sahara.
I have been calling them multiple time but they are not even coming on phone and dont reply to mails.
They are using all false claims that i threatened their driver when none of their driver delivered goods ,it was some third party.
I am worried about safety of my car now as its more than 25 days.

Beware !! before choosing ......

We relocated from Pune (18 Aug 2012) To Hyderabad (20 Aug 2012) and availed the services of SAHARA Packers & Movers Pvt. Ltd. The deal was fixed and loading was done on the same day, payment was made along of insurance amount of 1 Lac.

On the way from pune to hyderabad, the truck carring our goods met with an accident. To much of our disappointment almost all goods were in damaged condition and the packing done was in pathetic condition.

When we tried to communicate with the officials @ hyderabad, first they ignored our calls after repeated calls from different numbers we got them. They sent Mr. Vinod Chopra for assessing the damage. Later on they are just passing bucks and referred to Bangalore Head Office for the Claim Settlement. We also sent email to bangalore office as per Manager Mr. Ashok Chaudhury (Hyderabad) and tried to contact them but not able to reach them nor they replied to our email.

It has been a long time since this happened neither they give any tentative date nor these disgusting people respond. I feel how they are doing business without satisfying the customers. They are hopeless and ought to be blacklisted and their licence cancelled. Moreover there are series of complaints lodged against them being fraud, rude and cheaters.

We have completely lost hope and don't know their delaying tactics adopted for our issue.

I have Shifted from Bangalore to Mumbai Through Sahara Packers & Movers. These people have taken all the amount in advance along with insurance amount for the items.
When they delivered the items in Mumbai I found the sofa was Damaged. they said u will get the Insurance money dont worry.
But then they never came back neither they reply properly on Phone. They have a 24 hour helpline but they are useless.

I left to USA for a long term and left my car with sahara packers on dec 9th 2010. It was a 2005 Santro (KA 03 ME 1901). The odometer reading was reading 16000 km+ at that time. I came back on Jan 2012, and on the first week of Jan took the car from them. To my surprise the odometer reading was 13000 km+ !!! Plus, the car was having a different bonnet other than my car. The dicky was ’’fixed’’. There was a big dent on the roof. The stepney was completely bald (It was a brand new one with no miles on it - when I left the car with them). All four tires of my car was of MRF brand, I found 3 of MRF brand, and 1 of Bridgestone. On a further appraisal of the vehicle from a professional agency, it was found that the suspension was broken, shock absorber was bad, steering wheel bad. Plus I found that the car was stalling on lower speed and lower gears - something which was totally unprecedented. I was once stopped by the Police on Sarjapura road for speeding and the police officer handed me a big laundry list of traffic violations - all of which happened on 2011 - when I was actually not in country !!

These guys were actually using my car left, right and center - probably for some commercial purposes to make some quick money while they were charging me for the car's storage.

I want compensation for my losses but they are no more responding to my calls anymore now.

I am frustrated and totally disappointed about the service which I experienced from Sahara Packers & Movers.

I booked separate individual vehicle from Bangalore to Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) for Rs.18,000. As per their company rule, i have to pay 80% at the time of loading and rest of the amount while delivering. I paid 90& and hold only 10%.Sales guy (Manoj) also told that My brother can be accompanied in the vehicle.After vehicle went to their office in H.Siddaiah Road (Near Lalbagh), all staf[censored]sed rubbish language and man handled my brother too. Since i am going to abroad and close to flight timings, i am not in a position to visit and settle the issue. I was requested humbly all the office staff. Nobody cares. In midnight my brother asked to leave the vehicle and go.He was new to B'lore and he doesn't know any language other than Telugu.Can think of how pathetic situation it is.....

Things worth of 5 Lakhs left without having any faith on Sahara & packers because of first incident. Things didn't came even after 2 days of time.When we were calling, B'lore office guys were said, please talk in english or kannada otherwise don't call. Unfortunately nobody knows such languages in my family. Then my brother called Hyderabad office and came to know that, things were dumped in B'lore godown just because of not payed Rs.2,000/. and they said as per company rules have to pay fully.Then without having second thought my Father traveled to B'lore (24 hours journey without reservation) and payed Rs.2,000/.Then Staff arranged local transport vehicle with adding another person's consignments.We are worrying about only goods to come to home.No care about other things.After 1 day, things came to home.Of course since there was rain, they got wet.

I have paid whatever they asked.Even then things haven't been taken care.At the end customer is victim.Stupid fellows wants only money.

After Calling Yellow Pages, I had about 10 quotes to shift my house from Ramamurthynagar to Koramangala. I wish I had seen this forum before I decided to hand over the order to Sahara packers and Movers.

Their executive come and appear extremely decent on arrival and you almost fall for it. On the day of transport, they sent an open BBMP vehicle (I am not even sure if it was a garbage disposing vehicle) with 4 local guys and without absolutely any equipments and started dumping all my home equipments even without a paper packing in to the plastic boxes. (even Tvs, Music system etc). They did not eve have bubble sheets with them

Even worst, I had needed two vehciles that they promised and finally they say only one vehicle and they will do two trips. To make it worse it rained that day the whole day.

I finally arranged for another vehicle of my own and transported everything and finished at midnight.

Finally, I asked them to ask their Manager and someone called Jithesh called me who claimed to be the Manager and I see complaints about him also in this forum. What a pitty!!!.

The guy I spoke to was Chittaranjan. I finally paid them 5K and sent them off.

I lost my UPS exterior Box (Rs 10000)
Three Kurl-On Matresses 2 managed to dry over last 10 days and one thorwable now (4000)
4 Fav costly silk sarees of my Mom damaged (Priceless)
All other clothes got wet and some favorite clothes completely damaged.

Dint have the time to followup with them for all this.

Thought will share this so it doesnt happen to anyone else.

For all of you who are shifting, looking for packers and movers. We can do it way better if you hire guys from the taxi stand with vehicle. That is what these packers and movers do I guess. At least you can get vehicles not a garbade disposing vehcile.

My sincere suggestion to people who want to use the services of Sahara Packers and movers - DONT. I faced a harrowing time with them on documentation, delivery, misuse of car and misbehavior by the delivery driver. Firstly my car delivery was delayed by almost a week. Then it was delivered after a lot of follow up in a bad condition with scratches and an additional 200+ kms which was not accounted for nor clarified till date. When I asked for the insurance document confirmation was told that it will be delivered today, tom and so on which never materialised. In fact while booking itself I had clearly stated that I require it. On the delivery date when I questioned the driver and refused to hand over the money till I got what I asked for, the driver starter misbehaving and actually accused me of scratching my own car . UNBELIEVABLE ! Inspite of repeated follow up for clarification or document, am yet to recieve the same. The owner - Jitesh appeared to be nice initiatlly but has till date not kept up to any of his promises . Tired of following up with him. Their website appears like they offer the best services but dont do anything as stated. Horrible experience and till date struggling to get a response. PLEASE DONT EVER USE THEIR SERVICES AND PASS THIS ON TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE.

Quote/Packing
They do not send the person who take quote while packing, the packing groups brings very little packaging material and claims that there are more material than the quoted stuff. Later on the quote guy calls and demands more money.

Loading/Transport
They promise all the transportation is done by Sahara. But later on they contract crappy trucks - contamintaed and damaged floor. I had to fight tooth and nails to stop them loading my stuff in such bad conditions.

Delivery
This is the trickiest area - they says the items will be delivered by Sahara truck and personnel. Please take care. They have trans-loaded my stuff on a contracted truck on the way. I ca tell, this extremely risky act. The new guys have no connection with Sahara and and the customers. In case of loss or theft you have lost the entire stuff. No where to go!!!

Contacts.
They do not give proper contacts of the drivers - because they are not sahara employees!!! You try to call Sahara for delivery status - suddenly nobody is responsible - call this guy or that guy, I was on leave just joined, everybody out office, I am the secreatary etc etc.

Tips and Overcharge
After packing the guys cut a sorry face and demands heavy tips. They moan about poor salary, heavy work etc and you obligue.

I got transferred to Mumbai from Chennai and i have selected Sahara Packers and Movers was the best company to relocate. The manager named Amar Chand came to my place and given quotation and speaks politely. But once I received my items in mumbai i was shocked that all the packings were torn off and damaged. Also they didnot deliver 2 of my items. I have contacted them for the last 2 and half months and got update like today or tomorrow we deliver your goods safely. Now the person from bombay told me that they donot have a vehicle to transport my goods. Who will take responsibility in India to help me out. They were irresposible people and not trust worthy.

I am Jayadas and along with my family, I shifted from Chennai to Gurgaon on 21/06/09. I planned to send the household things through packers and movers and chose Sahara Packers and Movers(hereafter referred as SPM) based on the timeline they quoted to deliver the things at Gurgaon. They packed the things from my Chennai home on 20/06/09 and promised that the things will be delivered at Gurgaon on 27/06/09 or 28/06/09. They mentioned this date in the quote that they gave me. My Consignment note No. is 102537. They charged Rs.19238 for this work and asked me to pay Rs.15238 initially and the remaining amount on receiving the things.

I brought my wife and 11 month old baby to Gurgaon with baby food for one week believing that SPM would keep their word and deliver the things on time. When I called the Chennai office on 26/06/09 to know the status, they told they will deliver on time. The very next day(27/06/09) they evaded answering my question. The next day (28/06/09) people at the Delhi office of SPM told that the vehicle carrying the things met with an accident and that things would reach only on 02/07/09. When I called the Chennai office on 29/06/09, I was informed that the vehicle carrying the things started from Chennai only four days earlier and it would reach on 02/07/09.

On 02/07/09, when I called up the Delhi office, they informed that they had not received the things. In the meantime I called the Complaint number of SPM (91 [protected]) to lodge a complaint. The person incharge sent the following SMS: Sorry, Ill call you back after some time, If anything urgent kindly SMS me the matter thanks. Even after I sent an SMS I didnt receive any call and had to call back repeatedly until he picked the call. He informed us that the things would reach Delhi on Saturday (04/07/09) and will be delivered at our home on Sunday (05/07/09). Even this did not happen. Since I was getting irresponsible replies from people at Chennai and Delhi SPM offices, I called their corporate office at Bangalore to get a concrete date of delivery and to get assured that my things were safe. I was informed that my things would be delivered on Tuesday (07/07/09). I waited for my things on Tuesday and since I didnt receive them or a call on the status of delivery, I made a call to the Chennai office in the evening. Only then I was informed that the vehicle met with an accident on Monday (06/07/09) some 750 kms from Delhi. They told that they would file an FIR, and an insurance person would survey the damage after which things would be brought to Delhi. When I called them today (10/07/09), to know if my things are safe and when they would deliver my things, they have told that the things will reach Gurgaon on 11/07/09 and delivery of things at my home would be on 12/07/09. I still doubt what they have told due to the replies I got earlier.

I have faced various challenges due to the delay in delivery of my household items by SPM.

1.) My babies stock of food was over in a week and he suffered from Diarrhoea on 29/06/09. As my scooter is being transported by SPM, I did not have any means of taking my child to the hospital for consultation with a Paediatrician and had to carry him to a dispensary by walk.

2.) I am getting food from outside until now.

3.) Being new to this place, my family is finding it difficult and are struggling to settle down in Gurgaon without any household items for the past three weeks.

After a period of around 25 days, I received my things in July 14th.

Many cartons were torn because of dampness and the cloths, pillows, bedsheets were wet and stinking. There were many other damages to the things like Washing Machine, Pedestan Fan, TVS Scooty, Plastic Kitchenwares. And parts of Baby Rocker, One Fibre stool and TVS Scooty key missing.

Before delivering the things at my home in Gurgaon, they asked me to come to their office for verifying whether there any damages to the things which was actually a ploy to force me to make the remaining payment to them before they could deliver things at my home.

I was waiting for my household things for the past three weeks and through out this time I was not sure whether my things were safe. When I asked them to reduce some money for the delay they made in delivering my things they didnot agree for that. Instead they insisted on paying them immediately with out even thinking that I would have the required amount in hand. Also they told it is against their company rules. The company rules appeared to be framed for the benefit of the company and not for the customers.

Through out this past three weeks, I didnt received any calls from the concerned person updating me when I will receive my things or the status of my things. Whenever I call to find the status, they just give me some false deadlines for pacifying me. But so far they havent kept their words.

I with my family had suffered a lot here in this new place (GURGAON) just because of SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS. My complaint against them is:

1. SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS had given a false promise to me that they will deliver the things in Gurgaon in 7 days time. (But they started the vehicle from chennai only 5 days after they packed the things from my home in Chennai).

2. SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS didnt called me for updating me about the status and delays in delivering my things in Gurgaon.

3. SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS had spoken to me without any responsibility and without courtesy when I called them to get updates.

4. SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS's quality of packing materials were very bad.

5. SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS has to compensate me for :

a. For the delay in delivering my household things in Gurgaon.

b. For the Telephone calls/Mobile Calls I made to them enquiring the status.

c. For the damages which have occured to my things during the transit from Chennai to Gurgaon.

d. For the mental stress that I had to go through along with my family during the past three weeks.

When I called them again and asked for the Claim amount, they are answering very irresponsibly. I kindly request you to get me justice.

Recently I have moved my house hold items to my native via Sahara packers and movers, when Gitesh (Territory manager) came to give quotation, he spoke very nicely and after the packaging is done he did not keep up his promises.
He will be committing that, he will do unpacking, but he will never do the same. (In front o[censored]s his hired diver will say yes but once he come to native he will say he asked him to act like that.)
He will not be informing about the service tax and the insurance charges while giving the quotation. (The same will be extra after packing the things.. beware )
He will be committing that, two divers and one cleaner will be there along with the vehicle so they will be doing the unloading and un packing.. This is totally wrong information.. From my experience, only one driver will be there and he will not do the un loading and un packing the things (beware).
My personal suggestion, DON’T GO WITH SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS.

Last month 13 march i have booked my package from shara packers and movers from bagalore to delhi . But Still I have not received my package. They are not provideing proper response for my package. While booking they have promised to diliver the package in 3 days. Now it is almost one month, i have not received any positive sign of getting my package . For tracking my goods i have made call to there Complaints & Suggestions (+91-[protected]) but again they have made false promise. It seems like it is fraud (committing false statement to customer). How I will get my things back
