Sai Sony Service Center — cheating the customer

HI, My name is Vijay and I have 65 inch sony television which 2 days ago suddenly switched off so I went to google and got the contact no of Alex who owns sai sony tv service center in Kandivali west Rainbow Chambers. He sent his technician to my place 2 hours later and and took my tv and in evening Alex said “Your TVs motherboard and all system is burnt to get it repaired he told charges will be ₹ 75, 000 and I was shocked I told him I will let u know and after 10 minutes he told I will fix your tv without bill or gst it will be costed rs 45, 000 .I thought figured something is fishy and I told him return my tv for which Alex said he will charge 2500 for transportationand will send at 11am.I was fine but next day I didn’t get any intimation from him at 11.I called him and asked when will you send the television, he said you have to come and collect the television. I was so angry and went to his shop which was on 5th floor and lift was not working. I again called him and asked where are you he told he is out and not in his service station as there are no one to help me. So I took television and gone to police station to complain about the same so he doesn’t repeat his fraud behaviour with others. After that I went to sony Authorized center they charged me only ₹ 1770 with a propergst bill and 1 year warranty. I was shocked how can this happen and without opening or looking into television how can some one tell it will costed ₹ 75000 I really dont know what kind of service center is this. Guys please beware of such people who fraud innocent customers who will not know what to do in such panic situations. They take their hard earned money and take full advantage of their situation. Also a suggestion, always go to an authorised service center, because people like Alex at Sai Sony service center will cheat the customers and take more and more money from them.
