Samsung — 2 year old 32" Samsung television not working, Samsung asking absurd amount to get it repaired

Bought a 32" Samsung television on April 2013 with an extended warranty of 2 years. It started showing horizontal lines after completion of 2 years and broke down completely soon afterwards. When complained the technician came, saw and told that the panel needs to be changed and it will cost 17k. Someone really has to be out of his/her mind to spend such amount to get a panel changed which has only a year's warranty. Lesson learnt: NEVER BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT AND SPREAD THE MESSAGE
