[Resolved]  Samsung — AC Burnt

Name : Naveen Valiaparambil Email : naveen.[protected]@allianzcornhill.co.in Invoice number/Date: 8-165809 / 18th Feb 2012 Item code : SAMAS123BPE 1.0 TON AS123BPE This email in regards to my AC Purchased from QRS Pattom Trivandrum . The AC got burnt completely beyond recognition when it was not in use, there was no power supply to the AC when it caught fire . Sounds strange but this is what happened . As the result of this the curtains caught fire and since it was around 7 pm my family could get some help to extinguish the fire . The issue was reported to QRS pattom the very next day and we had a technician come over to our place to do an inspection . Unfortunately he was unable to find the root cause of the issue . All the related photographs would have reached your concerned department by now . When contacted the extended warranty department at your company, I was told that nothing could be done about my problem. I believe that this response is unfair because Samsung has an obligation . I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint. I have been a promoter of your company and did not expect such a response . I am currently based out o[censored]K and trauma my wife and kids had to go through because of this issue is beyond explanation . In case of not receiving a favourable response, I would like to use all the available consumer forums in India to bring this issue to a logical conclusion The scanned copy of the invoice has been sent to the concerned email address as informed by the technician .
