Samsung — Brand new Inverter AC found faulty but the company doesn't want to replace!! | |||
We bought an Inverter AC on 02/04/2015 and got it installed on 17/04/2015. Within two days of installation we had a problem with it and registered a complaint on 20/04/2015 regarding the same. The complaint number being [protected]. After repeated calls and complaints, a service engineer showed up on 23/04/2015 checked both indoor and outdoor and concluded that there was a leakage of gas, so he pressure locked it for 48 hours, promising that there would be no more such problems as we asked him to replace right then as it was brand new and already faulty. After 48 hours he checked the pressure status and said everything is fine now and there would not be any problem. We used the AC for a week then onwards and it worked fine. After few days same problem occurred and then the same saga of registering complaints and repeated calls!! We registered a complaint on the same complaint number being [protected] on 10/05/2015. Another service engineer showed up again (this being a nuisance as they keep checking it again and again with no conclusion for days together disturbing our work and time! I mean is that the level of expertise samsung has???) And finally he concluded there was a leakage in indoor unit this time which he sealed using a tape and again assuring that there would not be any such problem again. A week later same problem arises!!! We complained to the service head on 01/06/2015 but of no use so we registered a new complaint on 03/06/2015, number being [protected]. AGAIN another service engineer turns up on 04/06/2015 (when our house was full of guests but still we had to disrupt our work and stay with him) He dismantled the whole outdoor unit and concluded that there was gas leakage but could not find out where exactly so he has to report to his higher authority and based on their decision of whether to replace or repair he would go forward with it(find attached proof on that report). Since then there has been no response from Samsung. We called Samsung on 08/06/2015 to find out the status but there is no proper report on that and no one knows what the problem is! The report simply said that "We requested the customer" (what would anyone understand from this???) We need a replacement right away as we had enough headache with the present one in just 2 months. The warranty period is 10 years apparently!!! We will not hesitate to go file in consumer court if this does not solve right away!
