[Resolved]  Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd — Poor quality of LED TV - Rubbish customer service.

I had purchased 40” LED TV from Electro Mart Stores Pvt Ltd, Sector-18, NOIDA on 20/11/2011 believing SAMSUNG is the best quality product. After 16-17 months TV started giving display related problem (Samsung complaint No. [protected] dt 09/06/2013). Samsung Engineer visited to attend the call. Engineer pulled-out flat L-shape cable, cleaned contacts of both end of cable and reinserted the cable. Demonstrated working of TV and raised invoice of Rs. 1124/=. After few months TV again started giving intermittent display related problem. I had raised the complaint to Samsung India CEO Office for the same (Comp No. [protected]) and Samsung Service Engineer visited, checked display after switching-on TV and confirmed LED panel as defective. Samsung Service Center has emailed quotation of Rs. 23, 885/= dated 08/05/2014 to me for changing LED Panel. I Don't think LED Panel is defective. I am getting feeling that Samsung is cheating indian people with low quality. For a TV Purchased for > Rs. 65, 000/=of Samsung brand I did not expect to spend Rs. 1124/= just after 16-17 months and again Rs 24000/= after hardly 10-11 months usage proving that my belief in SAMSUNG was wrong. I am not expecting that most expensive part of TV (LED Panel) of Samsung brand TV should fail in such a short span. According to manufacturers, a LED TV has a lifespan of approximately 60, 000 to 100, 000 hours (continuous use), representing between 4 and 10 years (active use). Please do the needful to replace Manufacturing defective LED Panel at free of cost. Rs. 65000/= is a huge amount for a middle class family. I hope that you will help me in this regard and give me a warm response regarding this because this is actually exit for the customer in the consumerism.
