Samsung — Fridge compressor problem

Samsung fridge is still in warranty period and compressor got failed, for changing it company is asking Rs 1600. If compressor is faulty then how gas charged are on our head. If they are required to make fridge OK then they required possibilities. We have tried about 10 times but I am getting proper response. If anything can be done for me will be better because last 31 days fridge is in idle condition.
