Complaint marked as Resolved Hi, Team Samsung reached out to me and tried to sort out the issue at the earliest. On their request i had handedover the handset to Samsung mobile service in Raipur and upon close inspection it was found out that the handset is not suffering from any physical or water damage. The service desk in Gurgaon called me and said that Motherboard needs to be changed and as the phone is out of warrant Samsung can only provide discount of 10% overall. I resisted and finally it was closed on 50% of the cost to be borne by Samsung and 50% by me. Some how i wanted it to close it it was getting irritating for me to negotiate on daily basis for the cost to be borne by me and co.
In ideal world it should have been 100% of the cost should have been incurred by the samsung as it was the company who had launched a defective product in the market and i was the person who suffered the most due to data loss and trauma caused due to the whole ordeal.
The matter is resolved but somehow i am not satisfied.
Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
