My Samsung A50s phone screen freezes and stops working suddenly while under use. It becomes completely dead. I went to the Samsung Service Centre (Shop no. S-28, 2nd Floor, Prime Mall, Vile Parle) for repair as it was under WARRANTY.
Day 1 (12/09/2020) : I submitted the phone (after standing in the queue for 3 hours!) and got it back by evening. They said it was due to water accumulation on the charge point which had to be replaced. An amount of Rs.1, 224/- was charged.
#Note: I mentioned them that there was no instance where this could have happened as my phone never came in contact with water.
I came back home and the very next day the same problem came up.
DAY 2 (16/09/2020) : I went back for repair again. They took my phone and gave it back by evening. I did ask them if they had replaced the charge point, then it shouldn't have shown any problem. No proper answer was given. Again, the same problem came up. They called me back.
Now this will be the third time I need to go back with same problem even after paying a huge amount on my warranty period.
My question is - WHAT DID THEY REPAIR? WHAT WAS I CHARGED FOR IF IT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN AND AGAIN?
(*The Service Centre contact number doesn't even work which I got to know once I asked them after continuously calling on it and getting no answer)
I request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and resolve asap. And I need a complete refund of my money.
