I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone. After a recent software update, a green vertical line suddenly appeared on the screen, without any physical damage or mishandling.
This is clearly a display defect caused by internal software or hardware failure, which has been widely reported by many users, especially in Samsung's flagship phones.
I visited an authorized Samsung service center, where they acknowledged the issue but informed me that the display replacement is not free and would cost a significant amount, despite my phone being in excellent condition and under warranty (or recently out of warranty).
As a loyal Samsung customer, I am extremely disappointed. A premium phone costing over ₹1, 00, 000 should not develop such defects due to a company-issued update, and the brand should take responsibility. Other sm hone companies like OnePlus have offered 1 reen replacements in similar situations.
-I am requesting a free screen/display replacement or new device
-Samsung should officially recognize this as a known manufacturing/software defect
-Immediate action and resolution is expected
