[Resolved] Samsung India — Charging for mobile repair under warranty. | |||||
Sir/Madam, I bought a Samsung mobile J210F Galaxy J2 (2016) on 13/09/2016. The mobile unexpectedly went blank on 13/01/2017. The device was receiving calls and switching ON but the screen was black. I, then went to the authorised samsung service centre, they told outrightly that it will cost 5000 INR. At this point, I called the samsung customer care no.[protected]. They told me to go back to the centre and talk to the manager about the exact problem. I again went to the centre, they told me that they would have to open the device and it will cost money. It is not covered under warranty. I again called the no. and the executive told me that any water damage, falling of device or opening of device by unauthorised centre voids the warranty and I should go back to the centre to get a quality check of the device. Anguished by this lackluster attitude meted out to me, atlast I decided to file a complaint on this forum. Was this information helpful? | |||||
