May I bring to you notice the following:
• Of late we have been immensely irked by the deplorable support services of Samsung and regret having bought so many appliances paying a huge amounts, believing in the so called branded Samsung
• THE PROBLEM : The refrigerator bought on 1.07.2015 [ INV 114;Product particulars RT 45H5809SL/TL at Rupees 58, 000/-]started draining water, so the local service office was contacted for rectifying the problem on 25th March 2017. The technician came at 3.00pm, and while on the job, carelessly punctured the gas tube, resulting in a total breakdown. He deputed another technician, [ who did not seem to be a Samsung personnel]w, who came at 8.30pm and worked on the fridge upto about 11.00pm. During this process, he opened the back panel of the fridge and cut out small parts [a cyclinder]. I asked him why he was cutting out the original parts and he said it was broken. He then bought another tube and connected it from the outside, in a very shabby manner. However the cooling resumed, but the registered problem was not solved, with the water still draining. He left leaving us with an additional problem of an unnerving sound that continues 24 x 7 to this day. This second technician charged me RS.2, 800, [TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED]. Two days later, I received a message on my mobile saying the bill was Rs.460. My question: Why am I made to pay such a huge amount for no fault of mine???? when it is the fault of the unqualified and unskilled technicians, who do not possess the knowledge or skills to deal with such problems and make matters worse???
• Despite all this, the problem HAS NOT BEEN RECTIFIED, to date.i.e.5th April 2017. The water continues to drain and the fridge makes a continuous sound, disturbing our sleep at night.Calling the Regional manager: Mr Nitin and apprising him of the situation did not yield any results...only false promised and lip service, which Samsung is ver good at!!!. . As I go to work, finally the appointment was made for 30th March post noon, but to no avail, the technician did not turn up.
• Hence due to immense frustration and stress over the fortnight, I addressed the problem to the CEO's office on email to consider a replacement of the fridge: the reasons being that for the inept and defective work of the technicians and for no fault of ours, we were made to pay a huge sum with no receipt, and left with a defaced fridge. On instruction from the CEO's office, two days later, but as is their habit, two technicians did not come at the appointed time, and arrived just 15 minutes before I had to leave for work. Altho, they opened the doors of the fridge and took pictures of the defaced back, they reported saying that I did not allow them to inspect. This is a blatant lie for their unpunctuality. The call centre lady by the name of Premalatha apprised me of the technicians blaming me for my non cooperation. Having added to our anguish, I put the phone down and am now appealing to you for a considerate addressal of our grievance
• Alternately, may be you could consider a buyback, as the fridge is less than two years old as we cannot afford to buy another fridge. We foreseea total breakdown in the near future .Even if we are forced to buy another one, for sure, it will NOT be A Samsung.
• As senior citizens and my husband having the served the country, we would request you to give our grievance due consideration.
NEVER AGAIN, WILL WE BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT OR EVEN RECOMMEND TO OUR FRIENDS TO PURCHASE ONE, ESPECIALLY IN THE CITY OF MYSORE, KARNATAKA
