[Resolved]  Samsung India — fridge is not working and I have lost invoice & warranty card

I have purchased a samsung refrigerator in 2015 (Details mentioned below). The fridge has stopped working, and i came to know that there is an issue with compressor.
I have lost invoice copy and warranty card. I have already tried to get the copy of invoice from dealer, but couldn't find. I know, it's a mistake from our end. But, samsung customer care & their technician both have confirmed that they have all the details (Incl. Purchase date & owner's information etc.) with them.

Even though, they are asking for the invoice to claim this under warranty. I would really appreciate if someone from samsung team takes responsibility and help us to claim the warranty.

The local service center team had refused to provide any warranty claims, when I lost the invoice copy. Once I raised the issue here, I got a quick response from Samsung team, and they provided all required help to resolve the issue. A big thanks to the Samsung team.

It was a nice talking to you.

We had a discussion that I have lost the invoice & warranty card of my refrigerator. As this refrigerator was purchased in 2015, the warranty covers only Compressor. And hence we had agreed that I am not liable to pay any amount if the issue is with compressor. And also, service engineer won't ask anything regarding invoice or warranty card, as it can be tracked with serial no.

However, when the service engineer visited my house today, he was asking regarding invoice and without that he refused to replace or repair compressor.

I would request you to coordinate with the service center to avoid any misunderstanding.
