Samsung India — Quality issue of samsung product led tv ua40h5000

I am hoping that the intended recipient should spent some time and work for the issue that i and many others facing.

This is a kind of observation that i would like to share with you as i use samsung product from some years.

I bought a samsung color led tv ua40h5000 on 13-nov-2014 with a big expectation in terms of product quality, brand and service. During that time i felt samsung is really good in these areas and one can really rely on this without much thinking.

I started using the product and i really loving it. Approx 4-5 months after i saw some black spots coming up in display area. I was bit worried thinking that it''''s a brand new one and how come this happened but accepted that electronics good can have such thing. I called customer care and the issue was resolved by replacing display panel of the tv.

I was not sure that time why this has happened but was happy that it was resolved. Now after 7-8 months same thing happened with bigger no of dark spots coming up.

Now it forced me to think about the quality of the product. Because this issue happened with the new parts just after 6-7 months uses(Approx 3 hours a day).

Now situation is like that i do not have warranty anymore and to resolve this issue i have to replace the display panel what was done earlier.

But question raised here that samsung is making product which is not lasting for at least one year! What kind of quality assurance done for samsung product then? I really doubt whether this happens at all? Or it could be a company strategy to built a product with a bug and charge money back to customer again and again for rectifying the same issue.

I understand that no one can give guarantee about electronics product but at least they assure about the quality for three years.

One who spent 50k for a led tv, at least he should get a 3 years hassle free experience.

This might be your company marketing strategy but i would say due to this company is losing customer faith. And the day will come when people will not purchase product from samsung because of quality issue.

I do feel that samsung is still one of the market leader today but yes to hold that position it should work on customer satisfaction in terms of product quality, service, etc.

Hope you should work on these area.

After this email i got a call from samsung and got assurance that they will work on this issue and arranged a engineer visit to see exact problem. But with my surprise engineer gave me an estimate of 22k to rectify this issue. I am not sure whether samsung understand what i wanted to mean in my earlier email but fact is that it''s not getting into right forum. At least ceo''s office should mean kind of having visibility to higher management instead it goes to regular customer care service. I don''t even got a clear answer why same issue happening again and again. One funny thing engineer said this is happening due to dust getting inside tv. I said there are other tv in my house and they are not allowing dust to come inside.

This is the communication that I have made with Samsung so called CEO office but no further assurance. Just wanted to say we should ban these companies when minimum quality assurance is not done, Otherwise these people will continue to cheat US.
