[Resolved] Samsung India — regarding cheating during repair | |
My washing machine drier was not working. I called the samsung customer care and they took my complaint and sent and engineer next day. Engineer saw the drier and told us that the cover of the drier is broken and is to be replaced which will cost 1500 rs total. We saw the cover and found it absolutely alright. Nothing was broken. We told him but he talked very rudely and said that without changing the cover the drier is not going to work. We did not found him convincing and so we told him that we will tell him later. He took 250 rs for doing nothing and went. Next day we called a mechanic and he told us that there is no problem with the cover only a wire is broken. He fixed it in 2 min and charged only rs 100 and cleaned the drain as well. So either the engineers of samsung group are not qualified enough to recognize the problem or either they are doing it purposely to gain extra money. But they should not forget that people are not so silly not to be able to distinguish between a broken cover with that of non broken cover. Was this information helpful? | |
