- two months after purchasing my samsung phone developed problems with inability to hear the caller through the handset.
- on calling samsung service center, i was told that being a "premium customer", the faulty device would be collected and dropped back to my residence after repairs.
- the task was assigned to hcl services, a 3rd party vendor appointed by samsung india. the device was handed over on 18. oct.16 and after 2 weeks, (1-nov-16) the device has still not been returned to me.
- i have been following up with hcl services for many days for my device to be returned, but incredibly they do not answer or return calls, more recently have started cutting my calls. it's hard to believe that a customer service vendor will actually cut or ignore customer calls.
- on calling samsung call center with my issue, i am told the standard phrase they will speak to hcl services to return my device, but again there is no action or follow-up, only silence.
- i received an automated sms mentioning the service engineer assigned to my case with his mobile no, but the number (no surprise) is not functional.
