Dear sir,
1) i had purchased a samsung air conditioner vide invoice no.1293 dated 07/04/2014 [model: ar18hv5nbwk serial no. indoor: oaykpdcf102436 outdoor: oaylpdof100019] from blb international, r g baruaroad, near punjab national bank, guwahati (assam) – 781005
2) as per the terms and conditions laid down by the company, the airconditioner had an overall warranty of 1 (one) year and 10 (ten) years warranty on the compressor.
3) there was a cooling problem of the airconditioner and a complaint was lodged over phone and was rectified on 25/07/2015 for which i made a payment of rs.1800/- vide invoice no.695 dated 25/07/2015 to m/s bramm, chilaray nagar, h. n.0 03, chilaray path, opp hub, bhangagarh, guwahati-781005.
Again, unfortunately the air conditioner stopped cooling on 12/08/2015 and contacted the same service station. on 18/08/2015 i was told that there is some problem in the airconditioner for which i have to lodge a complaint in the centralized samsung customer care centre.
Eventually i lodged a complaint with the samsung customer care [[protected]] vide ref no.[protected] dated 19/08/2015.
A technician turned up on 20th august and was not able to rectify the problem. a different technician was sent the next day and after checking the unit he said the fault was with the pcb of the unit and needs to be changed. he said a spare pcb will be available only after 10 days after almost 10 day the technician came with a new pcb and changed it with my old pcb in 5the ac unit. the technician fiddled with the ac for almost the whole day and couldn’t rectify the problem even after changing the pcb, then they took away the both the outdoor and indoor unit to their workshop. then they called up to say that there is nothing wrong with the pcb and the fault lies with the compressor. they said a new compressor has to be ordered from noida and will take another 1 week to arrive. during his period, i made numerous call to samsung customer care centre, samsung service centre, bhangagarh, guwahati including senior officers of samsung customer care department. after one month they came back with the a/c and installed it. within a couple of days the a/c again malfunctioned and they finally took the a/c back in the service station on 09/10/2015.
Again after numerous consulation one mr gautam adhikari asm, samsung and mr raj adhikari, they promised me a refund of the a/c after deducting the depreciation value and they suggested me to buy a new a/c to cope up with the hot condtion. subsequently i bought a new samsung airconditioner dated 08/10/2015 vide invoice no. sc2481.
But to my utter surprise one fine day after 3 months mr raj adhikari from the samsung service station called me to inform that the refund of the a/c will not be possible.
Till date i. e.15/08/2016 the air conditioner with all the accessories are kept in the service station and no communication is further made with me.
The details of my mobile call records will be provided separately as and when required. after so many discussions with them, i could only get false assuarances from the officers concerned and my issue is not yet resolved.
In this regard, i would like to request to look into my case on priority basis and do the needful.
