1. On 20 february 2019 i had given my phone for a check as it was not working at your samsung service center @ sharad kunj, talopali, thane.
2. Your service checked it & i was told that the display had a fault & the display had to be replaced. I agreed for the repair. For this i was charged rs. 2393/-. The phone seemed to be working ok. I was told there was a 90 day warranty on the replaced lcd screen
3. Later while the phone was in use it's screen suddenly when blank after a day & stopped working
4. I brought it back to your service center on 25th feb. I was told to wait. I waited for more than an hour then i left.
5. Later when i rung them up at 6.30 pm. They said the dispaly need to be replaced again & since it was not in stock they are ordering another which will take 2-3 days
6. The next day when i checked up they told me the pcb has a problem & needs to be replaced at a cost of rs. 3000/- plus
7. I said i would not want to do that, since there is no gaurantee that the phone would work
8. When i told the samsung service center personnel that since it was hardly a week since i repaired the phone & it has stopped working i should be refunded for the display paid by me on 20th & they should take back the display.
9. I pointed to them i had paid for the repair of the phone & not the display (That the display was chaged was incidental). Since the phone hardly worked for 3 days after repair i should get a refund.
10. I further pointed out that how is that i was not told about the other problem initially, which shows that the phone was not checked properly & this is not what i expect from samsung.
11. If i had been given a proper estimate of the amount i would have pay, then i could have taken a decision to repair the phone or buy a new one.
12. Your staff at the service center bluntly refused, saying that they had already billed me & it could not be taken back
13. What it means is i have spent rs. 2400/- for nothing, i could have invested the same or lesser on a feature phone.
14.in this entire episode samsung has behaved like a small time grey shop operator
15. I had a faith in samsung name - my washing machine, fridge, microwave are from samsung but now that faith has been broken after this episode & the microwave incident earlier. I will stop buying samsung
