[Resolved] Samsung India — samsung product warranty issues | |||
Product: Samsung refrigerator Purchase date: 7/10/2017 Warranty: 1 year on Refrigerator, 10 year on compressor Samsung India complaint reference number: [protected] Refrigerator stopped working on 11/05/2019. Complaint lodged on: 12/05/2019 Samsung engineer visited on: 13/05/2019 & informed that compressor is jammed & needs to be changed. Compressor will be replaced free but I'll have to pay 1330 extra for gas charge. Samsung service center people tell that whenever compressor is changed or repaired, gas needs to be charged again. Now when my compressor is under warranty and you're changing it, why do you put that gas charges burden on consumer. Its a kind of hidden charge that was NOT informed at the time of purchase. The issue is with compressor and you have to change it. So while changing it, whatever you have to do or cost bearing, its on you, not on customer. Was this information helpful? | |||
