I raised a service request with sansung in august 2015 as my fridge was not cooling and followed whatever they said with blind faith until now when even after changing the bio metric sensor, the condenser, filling gas twice and servicing twice the problem persists. Finally, they say that that i have to replace my compressor costing rs 7000 to 8000 after i have spent close to 5000 rupees on maintenance without problem getting resolved. I asked a refund of money on parts as that did not solve the problem and were unnecessarily replaced and they agreed to return close to rs 1500 charged for bio metric sensor and condensor but the service centre guy has been fooling me around for days trying me to convince me to sell the fridge instead for rs 2000. When we refused to sell for rs 2000, this guy khader mobile number - [protected] of service centre said that he wont return money as fridge was working fine despite he being aware that it was not cooling and no ice was forming. When we said, we will complaint to higher samsung authorities, he said please go ahead and did not seem to be any concerned at all. We have now complained to samsung authorities using the complaint number and waiting for response. If this does not resolve, the only way forward is to move consumer court as even after charging huge amount the complaint remains unresolved. I was happy with the response till now but the end result does not seem to be satisfactory.
Got a call yesterday from samsung representative and had a conference discussion with service centre guys. The service centre guy denied everything and finally said he will send technician again. The technician came again today and said what was already known that compressor had to be replaced. This guy khader spoke again and this time accused us of calling an outsider engineer when we have raised all complaints with samsung and we have bills of all the work done till date. When nothing worked he said that we had to replace the compressor and he will not return anything as the pro lem was different each time whereas the engineer very well knows that it was the cooling that was the problem and it is still the case. This time again he said go report to anyone you want when i said i will report to higher management of samsung how he fleeced me. Looks like he is not bothered of any action or the samsung management is already aware and it is just an eye whitewash. Shame is this is the case. Awaiting response from samsung for my next action as khader has made it clear that he won't fix or return money paid for parts unnecessarily replaced.
