I noticed dead pixels in my Samsung 55 inches LED TV and I reached out to Samsung to create a service request on Oct 31 2022, after repeated calls and follows, I finally got someone who came to my place to check the reported issue, they said it could be the dust inside the TV and they said they have to open it and clean it. They said they have to come another day as they did not have the proper tools. Then again after more than a week again, after repeated calls and follow-ups, they came and opened the TV cabinet and confirmed that it is a dead pixel, then again while fitting it back, I started noticing a long straight line on the TV display, which they caused while opening the cabinet.
Now on reporting this, I had to go through the process of multiple calls and follows up for Samsung Customer support to send me another engineer who they claimed to be the senior engineer, the process repeated again, and he went with no solution, third time again they send another engineer who called himself he senior engineer again. This time they finally accepted to replace the display and started the process, I had to wait and follow up again for several days until they finally come with the new display.
The new display has been changed finally, now guess what, the issue is not resolved, in the process of fixing the display they broke the back panel of the TV. I had to open another ticket for the same on Dec 29 2022.
Though the panel was broken by the service Engineer I had to go through the same old follow-ups and wait again, After more than a month the ticket was closed without my concern. On seeing the SMS about the ticket being closed, I called Samsung and raised another ticket on Feb 14, 2023, For which I had to go through multiple follow-ups again. Finally, On Feb 18 2023 they came back with a new panel to replace the broken one, and guess what, they had brought a totally different panel, which is not even the same model as my TV, Now they say that they have ordered for a new panel and will fix it when they receive it, and who knows when. I have been having issues with this TV and Samsung Customer Support for the past 4 months and my issue is not resolved yet. I would like to fine a legal complaint against Samsung and their service partner.
