On 26th December 2020, I purchased a new Samsung M11 phone from your Smart Zone center at G-1/2 KP Infi nity Complex, Opp Inox Cinema, Vadodara 390007 vide their invoice number IM18/3430 dated 26th December 2020. Being in a hurry, I did not check the phone at that time and took delivery. Next day morning ie. 27th December 2020 at around 11.30 am or so I returned the phone back to the Smart Zone center as it was not working, particularly the touchscreen was not working and was not accepting any command. The same was tried by the people manning the center and I was informed that they will have it checked up and if required give me a replacement.
The next day when I went to take my phone back or replacement, I was informed that the phone was dropped and therefore I would have to pay to have it repaired. The phone was not dropped nor was this seen when I returned it back and to now say that it is broken and I have to pay for it to get repaired, seems to me that I am being taken for a ride.
Having been a loyal customer of Samsung all these years, I find the charge made by SmartZone center ludicrous and trying to take advantage which is not acceptable coming from a company like Samsung.
I have bought a new phone which I had given in perfect condition back as it was not working and the same was accepted by the center and now to be told that I have to pay for repairs when I have not used the phone at all is not acceptable to me and I demand a complete replacement.
it has been more than six months now and Samsung keeps on writing to me that they are looking into the matter but have offered no resolution. I am attaching herewith some of the documents for ready perusal
