Dear Sir/ Ma’am
I wish to complain about the burning of my mobile phone Serial number RZ1DE60HMR2L that I purchased in July last year from Elegant Electronics (authorized dealer), Shankar Road.
I am complaining because this phone posed a danger to my life. While it was on charging the phone and the charger (original Samsung) started melting. Right now, the charging pin is stuck inside the phone. When I first learned of this problem, I contacted your service centre [protected], West Patel Nagar (today), at your company, and was told that nothing could be done about my defective phone. I was told that “It’s your fault.” The two representatives were Kamaljeet Singh and Shivali Sabharwal (Shivali thought it was a joke and started laughing!)
I believe that this response is unfair because how can charging a phone with orginal charger be my fault? The company needs to give us good quality and safe products (the reason you feel the company has an obligation to you); the phone could have caught fire and caused me serious injuries if I was asleep. Clearly I have had to visit the Samsung centre twice in one year because of the product defects. I would like to get a replacement of my product and a written apology letter from Sansung for risking my life and all the inconvenience caused for the whole year. I feel the need to raise this issue because clearly Samsung is risking lives of people.
