Samsung — Motherboard issue after recent software update

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy M31s phone in october 2020, The official release date of this model is 2020 July 30, which says that it is pretty new and we expect descent updates over first few years. After a recent OS update (security patch update), my phone started freezing and auto-restarting every few minutes. It finally switched off with only logo visible which is not even letting the device to get into bootloader. I went to a nearby Samsung service center (Samsung Service Centre Haldwani) and they told me that the motherboard needs to be replaced.
Please, have a look at the problem the updates have caused. And kindly provide a free motherboard replacement or refund the amount
