[Resolved] Samsung — New Note 3 Neo device faulty after 9 days , No Replacement no refund Neither knows how to fix the issue | |||
I''m extremely sad and unhappy since the day i purchased the Note 3 Neo from Samsung on 24th Oct 2014. I''m facing all sorts of issue with the device for the past 10 days. I took the phone to the nearby samsung service center on 10th Nov 2014 but they said they cannot replace the phone as it crossed the 7 days time .They suggested that it was a software issue and flashed a new android build and told me that the issue was resolved but all the issues still exists.The phone hangs and freeze when i open apps or games and in turn the phone gets heated up, camera fails occasionally showing an error _quotcamera initialization failed _quot followed by a frozen screen. Phone switches off every time i plug the charger and will not turn on until i removes the battery and start it again. Extremely bad quality product received from samsung which cant even last for a week, The service center people where impolite and not ready to listen to what i said they kept on telling me that no replacement, leave the phone with them they will sort out the issue, software issue and all the usual craps. It is samsung responsibility to replace a faulty device rather than blaming the customer for using it for 9 days rather than 7 days. I feel cheated and this issue should be taken to the highest authority . Raised complaint with customer support and they said will get the manager to call back but it did not happen yet. Had a conversation with the service center technician on day 14 and he is saying that the motherboard replacement did not solve the issue so they are waiting for the higher team to approve for further action. When I enquired more they said that they are waiting for a new software build which they will load and test it on my phone to see whether that will solve the problem and asked me to wait for another 2 to 3 days for any update. Please take the faulty handset and do all the testing that you wish and in return please give me a new handset fresh piece not a refurbished one, if I need a refurbished one I myself could have got one from aftermarket sale at half the price . Hardware/Software issue is your problem not mine so please provide me a better solution . Day 15 Samsung folks are saying they tried all possible repairs now dont know what exactly the problem is and they are waiting for the area manager's decision .They have few number of handsets with similar problem so they are waiting for his decision and told me to wait for few more days .
