Samsung — Non repair of Samsung SCX3401F printer

The multifunction printer is giving black photocopy probably due to hinge broken of top cover. I was directed by Customer care to HP service centre in Gurgaon for repair to a broken hinge of top lid. The service centre has advised that part is not available and cannot be repaired.

Could you please guide as to how to get repaired the printer. The company should take care of this and I understand that this must be a common part.

The Customer care did not give any reference ID, they advised over phone to show the printer to TVS Electronics, MG Road, Sikanderpur, Gurgaon, Haryana.
