Sir, Sub: Purchase of Samsung LED TV (UA 46 F 6400)- Complaint with in the Guarantee Period-Request to replace the set with new one reg. Ref: Invoice no 293 of M/S T.V.House Alappuzha.kerala.Dated 30/04/2014. As you aware I have the privilege to become a member among the vast satisfied customers of the Samsung family till recently, however with regret I am to inform you that some six months back I bought a LED TV from M/S T.V.House Alappuzha vide the invoice referred above. Eight days back it developed some complaint. The top portion of the television developed a change in colour and turned black and couldn’t clear any picture. When contacted the service personnel it is informed that LED board have damaged and could only repair when parts received from Malaesia. this will take three weeks., instead of replacing the set with new one which is normally done under the warranty period. I have pleaded my innocence to replace the set with a new one which fell on deaf ears. He is of the opinion that he is authorized to repair the set and couldn’t do anything more. In this circumstance I am to request you to give immediate direction to the concerned dealer to replace the defective set with a brand new one since the snag occurred during the warrantee period itself, and repairing the set is not acceptable in normal circumstances under the consumer protection law.
