We have purchased a Samsung refrigerator 9 years back and now it has stopped working. After calling the service center we came to know that there issue with the compressor. We had lost the receipt and the Samsung dealer where we had purchased the product is not ready to provide a copy of the original receipt as he did not keep a record of the data as it's quite an older one.
The service engineer confirmed that the product is under warranty through the serial number. But did not agree to work unless we provide him a receipt. The product is covered under 10 years warranty but now it's of no use.
We have also called customer care and tried escalating our query. We did not get any positive response from the team even if they know the product is under warranty nor do they agree to send any details or assistance further.
let us know is there any other way to resolve the same, Service part cost is almost the same as the purchased refrigerator. Was this information helpful? |
