Samsung — Refrigerator gasket

Bought a Samsung Fridge through Croma Porvorim Goa on 20/12/2024 along with extended warranty for another 2 years. As the rubber gasket was coming off I complained to Croma om 11th Dec 2025 .Croma sent someone from Samsung. Between Croma and Samsung each one says the other is responsible. Finally this evening, Mr Rakesh Hosamani of Croma said that I will have to pay for the gasket despite being inside the fridge they call it an accessory. Does not warranty cover everything inside the fridge required for proper functioning?

As per Samsung / Croma the gasket is an accessory. Definition as per Collin's dictionary. Accessories are items of equipment that are not usually essential, but which can be used with or added to something else in order to make it more efficient, useful, or decorative.
So as per that the gasket is not essential for the functioning of the fridge.
