I purchased an S20+ when I lived in the UAE, and recently moved to India for college. Out of nowhere, my device developed a pink line during the end of August, after which I contacted Samsung India. After 2 months of delay, they finally took my device in, promising a free screen replacement. But later refused to fix my screen and asked me to pay Rs19, 000, stating that my phone was a "foreign" model and the replacement couldn't be processed for free. I'm sorry, what? Whatever the region of origin may be, why does it matter if you're selling the same phone across nations? I would understand if the fault was mine but this is simply unacceptable. I am definitely not paying for their mistake and I will never entertain Samsung from here on, unless they make things right. And I hear that even if I do pay for the replacement, there is no guarantee that my phone will he free from future lines, and apparently the 19k replacement only comes with 3 months warranty which is just laughable. Deeply disappointed, never choosing Samsung again. Today, I have 2 pink lines, 2 white lines and 1 green line, and one pink like that somehow turned white.
