After 15-18 months of my Samsung phone uses, I started facing hanging and restarting issue. When I visited nearest service center in Pune, I came to know this is mother board issue and its very common with M series phone where after year o[censored]se most of the phone has mother board issue. I did some internet search and found this was really a big issue with this series, where customer starts struggling after an year. Even this came in one of the article's in Time of India. Samsung is a well known brand and customer have faith on their brand value. If this is an issue with most of the phone in this series it's clearly a manufacturing defect and brand should replace mother board free of cost. Same thing I discussed with samsung care executive on call on 25th July 2022 and they told me to submit phone in service center and my board will get replaced, but there should not be any physical damage with phone. I did what they told me to do, I submitted my phone on 26th. Very next day I got confirmation that my phone has been repaired and amount payable is 0. But when I went to collect my phone I came to know, status was updated just to close my case, the phone has not been repaired and I have to pay 7500 for mother board. I was shocked. I escalated the issue on Samsung CEO portal, and now they are offering me 25% discount on repair and asking me to pay 5500. My question is, if my phone was not repaired they why did status came as "Repaired" and got an "SMS" for 0 payable amount.
No one is responding on email now and my phone is in service centre. I dont understand which kind of practice of this. I want my phone to be repaired free of cost since this is a manufacturing defect also, there was a communication from them that my phone was repaired. Was this information helpful? |
