Dear Samsung customer complaint handling Team,
This is regarding the Samsung service center response & misleading the customer on the complaint /service asked for minor issue.
Dear Team, Please note, i have purchased A71 Smart phones (2 nos together) the hand set was fantastic & working fine. we really enjoyed the phone & its camera performance. The said hand set was working fine in all respect & suddenly i observed the charging issue . i mean, it was not showing the charging symbol when connected to its charger ( i had around 68% charging) i assumed it could be the charger issue, but when i checked with other set, A71 Set, it worked, then i realized its something do with charging port of the handset. since it was under warranty, i took it to the nearest Samsung authorized service center at Kuvempu Nagar branch, Mysore, address;#854 R K Plaza Opp to JSS Law, MYSORE ;570023.
they took the handset (after inspection ) & they told i will not get warranty for the back cover which was damaged . i accepted it, as i was know about that crack & it had happened 2 months back itself. only issue i am having is its not charging. Next day, the service person called me & told so many things to be replaced & told it will cost me 19K +, they told there is water entry, charging board replacement & back cover etc.i was shocked to hear the amount, then i asked what about warranty part. they did not clarified over phone & they were looked to be confused to confirm the actual issue.
I was not convinced & felt something fishy, i told them i will come service center to discuss & clarify . when i visited, they took around 35 to 40 mins to show me the handset & discuss the issue.
before i receive the handset, they started telling that, motherboard has gone & display is also not working so on.. then i was literally very upset, i requested them show me the my handset properly, then i clould see the physical damage of the hand display & the fluid inside was scattered. which was not the condition of the handset when i handed over to them.
The issue was only the charging, now they were projecting so many problems & damaged the display too . over & above they were trying to mislead me for the part replacements & charges without warranty.
which is really injustice & never acceptable to anyone. I immediately called the senior person/manager & brought to his notice the issue going. He accessed the matter & assured me to re-evaluate the issue & will came back to me tomorrow. The lady who interacted & took my hand set for inspection before issuing the job sheet also, convinced & confirmed that, the display was not damaged when I submitted the hand set for charging issue. Before leaving the center & I made it clear to all them that, I was having only the “Battery not charging “ rest all the was fine.
Today again from morning I am trying to reach the said service center branch manager ( 4 times)but, I didn’t get any positive response yet from them & no closure to my complaint /issue.
Looking at this whole scenario & way the service center team was misleading the customer, I felt its better to escalate such matter to Samsung directly & bring to their notice such issue in advance to Samsung loyal customers . kindly take care of such service center teams who are not transparent & misleading /misguiding the customer to MINT money.
They have to completely repair/replace the parts they have damaged or Replace the handset istelf. i am really suffering a lot because of non availability of the data & mobile handset in my daily business needs.
Kindly guide or take necessary action to deliver my handset within a day or two . else I am forced to take legal action against the Branch manager & Team through the Nodal officers & consumer court for proper justice & compensation for the losses occurred due to their irresponsibility.
