[Resolved]  Samsung — Samsung Galaxy M31s motherboard malfunction

My Samsung Glaxy M31s was purchased on 20 Dec 2020 and it was working fine unless the phone update one month back. The phone used to switch off and on, on its own but soon stopped doing that. On 2 October 2022, it hung up and did not move beyond the start screen. When I took it to the service center, I was told it was a motherboard issue and that first I should pay 9500 INR, and later when I questioned again that I should pay 8800 INR. It sounded fishy because they barely took time to examine the phone hence I googled about such issues with this mode and I was overwhelmed by the same issue which many customers had faced. I feel so cheated. This phone had all my data including travel tickets as I was on vacation. Seems like all customers faced the same issue after software updates since May 2022. Samsung should be held accountable for duping customers and not letting them on the real reason for such malfunction. Buying a motherboard is no joke. They should be transparent and offer reparations to customers facing this issue. Highly unethical of them to do this.q
