Hi Samsung,
For the last 14 days my galaxy active 2 watch's display malfunctioning and I have gone to the customer service team in thrissur, India on 27th July 2022. But they are saying "Motherboard is damaged due to liquid and it's not covered in warranty, also claimed 16K INR for repair. However, it's actually in warranty as I purchased this last October. I only used it for regular use and there is no way that it's water damaged.
This is so disappointing to me. The watch failed within 10 months period and also I didn't even use it in the swimming pool. without a proper analysis service Technician directly asking me for paid service. They simply claimed that the watch is water damaged. This is not acceptable.
Also, I understand the product is waterproof/resistant which the brand claims to be on website and other channels therefore it should not have been damaged in the first place. Would like to know a solution on warranty claim and explanation about fragility of the product and wearables like watches could be damaged for the mentioned reasons.
Did not expect something like this could happen. Highly disappointed as it's not worth it to purchase such fragile products from samsung
(It's a wearable product and a watch, it needs to be robust and waterproof/resistant; so it needs to work for a long period as well.)
